This winter, witness the London debut of "Coalescence" by designer Paul Cocksedge at the Old Royal Naval College. Comprising over 2,500 pieces of coal, this installation suspended against the grand arch of the Painted Hall creates a captivating play of shadow and sparkle. Another artwork, "20 Trees," in the adjacent Nelson Room, conveys a powerful message about ecological balance. Both pieces encourage contemplation of our relationship with the environment.
5. Storytelling from Father Christmas at the Old Royal Naval College
Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Christmas tales with Father Christmas at the Painted Hall. From 9th to 23rd December, Father Christmas will regale visitors with magical festive stories inspired by the glittering art installation, Coalescence. As you listen to the tales in this historic setting, you'll receive a special present and have the opportunity to capture the moment with a photo alongside Father Christmas himself. Sessions run throughout this period, creating an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.
